More than 40 IT and networking experts and business people attended a Cisco seminar organised by Arrowdawn.
The event, which took place at the newly-opened Chester Hotel – formerly Simpson’s Hotel – on Queen’s Road, outlined the importance of businesses and organisations staying well connected.
A multi-award winning Cisco partner, Arrowdawn hosted the event Tomorrow’s Connections Today which explored the benefits of a number of leading Cisco solutions. The free event also included a buffet and informal networking session.
The Aberdeen-based company welcomed a range of industry experts, including Robert Price, head of technical strategy for Cisco’s partner and commercial team, who shared his expertise on the Internet of Everything.
Additionally, Steve McKee, product sales specialist at Cisco, delivered an engaging discussion focusing on unified communications.
Gordon Adie, managing director at Arrowdawn, said: “We were delighted with the response we received from delegates, while the standard of the venue was excellent.
“I’d personally like to thank everyone who attended as well as all of our guest speakers who helped make the event a success.
“It proved to be a great opportunity for our team to meet with existing customers and establish relationship with potential clients. We are exploring hosting other similar events in the near future.”
