Big kick-off at Pittodrie for thousands of beer fans

More than 14,000 pints will be enjoyed as up to 4,000 ale lovers descend on this year’s Aberdeen and North-east beer festival.

The popular event, organised by the Aberdeen, Grampian and Northern Isles CAMRA branch, returns to Pittodrie’s Richard Donald Stand from Thursday, May 31 until Saturday, June 2.

Doors open on Thursday, May 31 from 4pm until midnight, on Friday, June 1 from 3pm until midnight and on Saturday, June 2 from noon until 11pm.

At 100ft, the bar will be the longest in the North-east of Scotland. With a choice of 100 different real ales from around the UK on offer, there is sure to be something to quench everyone’s thirst.

The entry fee of £5 includes a commemorative beer festival glass sporting both festival and showcase brewery logos. This glass may be used for free re-entry to the festival at later sessions.

Arrowdawn, an award-winning Cisco partner and telecommunications, data, network and infrastructure specialist, is again sponsoring this year’s beer tokens.
