Arrowdawn Technical Update: Connecting to the Network in a Mobile World – places filling up fast, register now to avoid disappointment.

North-east IT specialists are being offered insight into global business communications giant Cisco’s technology and strategy.

Arrowdawn is staging a technical update on Thursday, June 25 (2015), at Aberdeen’s Gordon Highlanders Museum from 9am.

The event, ‘Connecting to the Network in a Mobile World’, will have 40 places available on a first-come, first-served basis. Speakers will include Robert Price, Head of Technical Strategy, Cisco’s Partner and Commercial Team and Richard Moir, Technical Director at Arrowdawn.

Managing director Gordon Adie stresses the event is about technology rather than sales. He said:

“There’s an explosion of things being connected to networks, so it’s critical that networks benefit from the innovation needed to meet these increasing demands.”

Three sessions will explore connecting to the mobile world, innovations in switching, and the new WAN for the mobile world.

The sessions will cover 802.11ac, HDX, CMX, Analytics, Cisco Hyperlocation, Cisco Instant Access, Converged Access, mGig and Cisco IWAN.
