Award-winning Arrowdawn has again backed the Aberdeen and North East Beer Festival.
Arrowdawn has sponsored the festival’s “beer tokens” which visitors use as payment to sample the ales on offer at the Richard Donald Stand, Pittodrie Stadium – home of Aberdeen Football Club.
The organisers will be hoping to top last year’s record attendance of 3,600. A variety of beers – 100 in total – from Shetland to Cornwall will be on offer as well as bottled beers from Germany, Belgium, Japan and America.
Richard Jones, festival organiser for the past 17 years, said: “We’re delighted with the support from Arrowdawn and all our sponsors who contribute to making the event such a success.”
Entry to the festival costs £5 and includes a free glass and programme (subject to availability) with free re-entry on production of 2011 festival glass. The festival runs for three days – Thursday, June 9 (4pm-12), Friday (3pm-12) and Saturday (noon-11pm), over-18s only.
